One of the top candidates for the 2012-2013 6th man of the Year award could be on the move as Jarrett Jack has reportedly been in contact with teams outside of his current place of employment with the Golden State Warriors. Yahoo’s Marc Spears dropped this tweet on Monday afternoon:

While it’s far from an “offer” from any team, Jack certainly deserves interest from all corners of the league, and the team’s that are presenting that interest aren’t terribly surprising. It was widely known that Golden State would try to lure him back for another contract, Denver could look to move Andre Miller under their new regime, and Dallas is in desperate need of another guard in the wake of the likely departure of OJ Mayo.

Jack averaged 12.9 points and 5.6 assists per game in Golden State last season, and he did so with a nice PER of 15.93. While his statistical production is solid, it was undeniable that he had a positive impact on that ball club with leadership and toughness, and any team would be lucky to have Jack in a 3rd-guard type of role as he reaches age 30 later this year.
