The Tampa Bay Buccaneers significantly upgraded their defensive secondary this off-season. They acquired arguably the league’s best corner back in Darrelle Revis and former San Francisco 49ers safety Dashon Goldson. Don’t forget that they drafted Mark Barron from Alabama in 2012.

Barron is looking to his new teammates as mentors and soaking in as much as he can.

“Knowledge. Just like with Ronde Barber,” Barron said, via PewterReport.com. “There were certain things I wanted to learn from him as far as just studying the game. And I picked up some things from him and now I have two different players I can pick up more things from. I just feel like I am in a great situation where I can learn from different players and pick up a lot of things.”

Mark Barron was pretty solid last season as a rookie, if he continues to improve the Bucs defense could be incredibly transformed and upgraded. They could be a solid fantasy pick, though the offenses within their division are worrisome.

Revis also payed Mark Barron $50,000 for the #24 jersey which he was wearing.
