According to Terrell Owens’ agent, Jordan Woy, there have been conversations with “a bunch of teams” regarding the veteran wide receiver. The 39-year-old receiver is reportedly great shape, and is ready to help a team win right now.
Woy said this about Owen’s possible return to the NFL,
"We’ve talked to a lot of teams that have said he’s a great talent, we’re set as of right now, but if we have injuries, we may reach back out."
Owens has been training in both the west and east, Los Angeles and Miami, and is eyeing for a team who, as I said earlier, is looking to win now. The idea is that if there is a team out there with some younger wideouts who don’t perform well in the preseason, Owens would be able to sign and make a bigger impact.
As he approaches the age of 40 in December, his career as it stands now is very good. If signed by a team, he would look to improve on his already impressive numbers, 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns. His last stint in the NFL was last season with the Seattle Seahawks, where he only made it to the preseason before getting removed from the roster.
