Fans don’t care about the concussion lawsuit or settlement.

Look, as much as we’d all like to say that the well being of former NFL players is important to us, the bottom line is we just want the whole thing to go away so we can enjoy our football.  Do we want former players to be in pain?  Of course not.  However, if the choice were to do everything possible to help players and have it significantly alter the product on the field or do nothing and keep the same great product we’d pick to do nothing.  We want to be entertained.  If we can be entertained AND have former players be well taken care of, great, but if not, then we just don’t want to have to hear about it all the time.  That’s why fans are happy about the settlement, because we hope the whole thing will go away now.  Did the league win?  Did the players win?  Shhhhhhh!!!!!!  It’s almost kickoff time!
