4. Brian Hartline-WR-Miami Dolphins (26.0%)

The Dolphins didn’t dominate, but did get a nice road win in Cleveland and did it without using their flashy offseason acquisition Mike Wallace very much. Instead Ryan Tannehill went with his returning receiver Brain Hartline targeting him 15 times compared to just five passes thrown Wallace’s way. In the entire league, only Anquan Boldin was targeted more often in week one

Hartline finished with nine catches for 114 yards and a touchdown. Last season, Hartline had a few games like this but failed to establish himself as a consistent weekly option. Hartline and the Dolphins go on the road again this week heading to Indianapolis where the Colts defense struggled week one.

Hartline will have a few big games and is a solid pickup if you need depth at wide receiver. As the season goes along, though, I do think Tannehill will connect more with Wallace and Hartline will be more a secondary option. He’s a decent flex-play in weeks where the Dolphins have to throw a lot and is worth owning for depth in most formats. However, he’s not a WR2 and it would be tough to count on him week in and week out.
