8. Carson Palmer-QB-Arizona Cardinals (32.1%)

Palmer had a very nice debut in Arizona throwing for 327 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Larry Fitzgerald in week one as the Cards fell to the Rams 27-24. He did throw an interception, but looked solid overall and demonstrated a solid knowledge of Coach Bruce Arians pass-heavy attack.

Palmer has some very nice options at receiver and is in a great system for him, so even though his arm strength may be limited he’s still going to put up solid numbers in most matchups. Palmer may have issues long-term this season if the protection problems the Cardinals had last year resurface, but if his line can keep him upright and he stays connected with Fitzgerald he’s a solid QB2 most weeks.

Next week he and the Cardinals are at home against the Lions which is a nice matchup in the secondary if his offensive line can keep Ndamukong Suh and the Lions at bay.
