Things were going so well for the Tennessee Titans, almost too well. Just when the Titans were really starting to believe that they had finally found their franchise quarterback, in one moment it all disappeared. With the Titans leading the New York Jets 24-6, Locker dropped back to pass and was hit by two different Jets. It appeared that the second hit was the one that caused Locker’s leg to fold up awkwardly under him.

It appeared that the Titan medical staff was looking at his right hip. He was carted off the field and was being taken to the hospital.

It probably wont matter for this game since Geno Smith is making Jets fans long for Mark Sanchez (just kidding, that would never happen) with his horrible play today. I think the Titans will be 3-1 at the end of the day, then their concern will be over the extent of Jake Locker’s injury.

Locker has been impressive so far this season. He has been accurate from the pocket, he has made good decisions scrambling and he has led game winning fourth quarter drives. He really seems to have taken significant strides toward becoming a viable quarterback in this league.
