Fantasy Football 2013: Top 10 Week 7 Waiver Wire pickups
7. Andre Ellington-RB-Arizona Cardinals (8.8%)
Ellington keeps getting slightly more work and turning in slightly better numbers each week as he takes more and more touches from Rashard Mendenhall. He had 12 touches last week against the 49ers for 92 yards and a touchdown.
While Head Coach Bruce Arians continues to maintain he’ll be limited in his touches and doesn’t have the body-type to be a feature back, he continues to produce solid fantasy numbers especially in PPR leagues.
If you need a flex for your bye week or are looking to stash some RB depth for the future, Ellington has serious upside even though he’s in a tough matchup this week against the Seahawks. I wouldn’t start him this week if you can help it, but he has potential going forward for the rest of the season making him worth a spot in our top ten.
