Sitting at 2-4 and having lost two straight games, as well a their starting quarterback, the Buffalo Bills won’t have E.J. Manual for the next month of football as they try to stay close to the .500 mark:

Marrone said Monday that Manuel is “ahead of schedule” in his recovery from knee surgery after suffering athe initial injury two weeks ago in a loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Bills CEO Russ Brandon gave a little more color on the general timeline that’s in play during an appearance on WGR 550 radio on Wednesday.

"“He’s here constantly going through the rehab process with our training staff,” Brandon said ”Hopefully he’ll continue to progress. I don’t have a timetable at this point, but hopefully we can get E.J. back on the field as soon as possible. I know that’s what he wants too. Coach will address it later today. Hopefully we’ll have him back in the next month or so.”"
