While there haven been any news regarding a potential deal since then, Allen may have fired a hot last nigh that helps him get out of Minnesota:

Per CBS Sports:

"This is what happens when the opposing offense scores on every drive. The defense gets frustrated, and by the fourth quarter, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen finally verbalized what everybody else was thinking: “I’ve never played on a defense this bad in my life.” At least that’s what he appears to be saying. That certainly won’t help him stay in Minnesota.
