5. Andre Ellington-RB-Arizona Cardinals (21.1%)

We may never get to see the Cardinals dynamic running back as an every down back since Coach Bruce Arians seems set on splitting his carries with someone. This week, Rashard Mendenhall was out, but Stepfan Taylor shared the load. However, Ellington is showing he still has major fantasy value in his limited role as he went off on Sunday against the Falcons for 154 yards rushing (on 15 carries) highlighted by an 80-yard touchdown run. He added eight yards on a pair of catches and will continue to get work in the Cardinals passing game as well.

Even though he’s not truly a feature-back, Ellington is a decent flex play option since he can take any touch to the house. His numbers may fluctuate based on his limited workload, but they have to let him play if he keeps playing this well. Don’t be discouraged by the down weeks, Ellington is a force if he gets double-digit touches.

This week, the Cardinals are on their bye week meaning Ellington won’t get any touches this week, but returns with some juicy matchups over the next few weeks. If you can hold him on your roster through this bye-studded week, Ellington will pay off the rest of the way
