Fantasy Football Waiver Wire 2013: Top 10 Week 9 pickups
7. Kenny Stills-WR-New Orleans Saints (1.1%)
The Saints have had a great season even though they have gotten very little out of their wide receivers. That changes a little bit on Sunday as they got a huge game from rookie receiver Kenny Stills who took three catches for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Saints also gave the former Sooner the ball on a rushing play which got four yards.
Stills doesn’t get huge numbers of targets like the wide outs earlier on this list, but he’s a big-play threat and has one of the best quarterbacks in the league throwing the ball his way. He’ll continue to be a boom or bust option, but is growing into fantasy relevance as he emerges as New Orleans deep option in a pass-heavy offense.
The Saints are past their bye week and face the Jets, Cowboys, and Falcons in their next four games all of who have given up big plays in the passing game in the last few weeks.
