Fantasy Football Waiver Wire 2013: Top 10 Week 10 pickups
10. Mike James-RB-Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10.6%)
James had been underwhelming in his two weeks as the Bucs starter, but had a huge game last week in Seattle against the Seahawks. He finished with 148 yards on 28 rushing attempts and added eight yards on two catches. He did get a touchdown, but in an unexpected way as he threw a TD to Tom Crabtree.
Doug Martin could still return at some point, but it won’t be any time soon making James a solid play for the near future as the Bucs face the Dolphins, Falcons, and Lions the next three weeks.
The Dolphins have struggled defensively allowing the second-most points per game to opposing RB’s. In such a favorable matchup, James appears poised for a big game, but he’s been so inconsistent and with the Bucs offense struggling I would only use him as a flex play or an emergency RB2.
