Making a return performance to our waiver wire pickups, Jennings is once again a hot option after his own injury and Darren McFadden’s return made him a fantasy afterthought. With McFadden going down injured again against the Eagles on Sunday, Jennings stepped in and stepped up in a big way rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown and adding 74 yards on seven catches.

McFadden’s injury is reportedly in the same place but there’s no firm timetable for his return. Jennings has showed on multiple occasions now that he can contribute when he gets the touches, so he’s a great pickup since he could be the featured back for the coming weeks.

Oakland faces the Giants, Texans, Titans, and Cowboys the next four weeks who have all struggled to contain the run at times this season. For as long as he’s the starter, Jennings will be a great flex play with serious upside as he showed us Sunday even though he was outshone by Foles on the other sideline. There are a number of good running back options this week as you’ll see in the upcoming list, but Jennings is the best short-term option since he carries so much of the load when he’s the starter.
