4. Santonio Holmes-WR-New York Jets (%)

Santonio Holmes had been sidelined for five weeks with a hamstring injury until this week when he returned against Buffalo. He only managed 71 yards on two catches in week 11, but he was targeted a team-high eight times and looked to have some left in the tank with solid explosion and cutting ability.

Going forward, his potential will be limited by the Jets iffy quarterback play, but Geno Smith has shown he trusts Holmes and will continue to throw him the ball. Smith was rattled by the Bills D and the wind this past week, but better days are most likely ahead.

This week the Jets are due for a win since they’ve alternated wins and losses every week this season. They’ll be visiting Rex Ryan’s former team in Baltimore this week, but then they have two favorable match ups at home against the Dolphins and the Raiders. If you need a fill-in WR3 or flex option, Holmes is an option to consider. He will get the targets, but the questions are if those throws will put him in a place to succeed and if he can stay healthy.
