Part Two: Wednesday night NBA predictions

LA Clippers @ Minnesota – The Timberwolves are playing well at 7-5, but I’m surprised they have five losses already.  This is an important game for Minnesota to establish itself as a premiere team because they lost to the Clippers 109-107 in Los Angeles on November 10th.  Time for the Wolves to return the favor.  Timberwolves win 120-115.

Utah @ New Orleans – Utah won their first and only game against the Pelicans last Wednesday at home.  New Orleans cannot consider itself a playoff contender if they hand the Jazz their second win of the season.  Pelicans win 103-88.

Boston @ San Antonio – Boston has a four-game winning streak sandwiched between two four-game losing streaks.  The 4-8 Celtics are soon to be the 4-9 Celtics.  Spurs win 94-83.

Sacramento @ Phoenix – Eric Bledsoe did not play for the Suns last night against Sacramento and the Kings won 107-104.  Bledsoe’s status is still up in the air, but if he plays the Suns should win easy.  If Bledsoe does not play, then the home court advantage should still give Phoenix the win.  Suns win 109-102.

Houston @ Dallas – The Rockets are winning the games they are supposed to win with an 8-4 record.  They beat Dallas at home on November 1st, but an away game against the 7-4 Mavs is no sure win.  The land of football produces some great NBA teams, and this game should live up to the hype.  Mavs wins 104-103.

Memphis @ Golden State – Memphis is 3-0 on its road trip beating the Lakers, Kings, and Clippers.  A win against the Warriors would produce a California sweep.  However, Golden State is never out of a game because of the shooting ability of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.  Warriors win 97-90.
