The Jaguars/Buccaneers are turning things around

The Jacksonville Jaguars have come back from their bye week to win 2 of their last 3 games. They beat a horrible Houston team on Sunday with an opening drive touchdown and two field goals. I think the bigger story there is just how bad the Texans have gotten than how good the Jaguars now look. The Texans haven’t won since Week 2 and there are grumblings that Gary Kubiak could be the league’s first in-season head coaching fire. Not even a mini-stroke can save you when your team is this bad.

The red-hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers went into Detroit and stole a win right out of Calvin Johnson’s hands. Bucs rookie QB Mike Glennon out-played Matthew Stafford as Stafford tossed four picks on Sunday, the last one sealing the win for Tampa Bay. The Bucs definitely capitalized off of Detroit’s mistakes, but they’d be wise to position themselves more in the draft pick race than anything else right now. The Bucs still have more problems than wins.
