Fantasy Football: 5 Sleeper TE’s to Help You Win Your Playoffs
5. Dennis Pitta-Baltimore Ravens
This name isn’t at all on the list because of his matchups which are decent but not exceptional for the playoff run. Pitta is here because when he’s healthy he is definite top ten tight end material. Last year in the Ravens playoff run he caught three touchdowns in their four games while making 14 catches for 163 yards.
He has played zero snaps this season and is currently on the IR-Designated for Return list. Coach John Harbaugh seemed optimistic about his week 14 status, and the Ravens offense would really benefit from him stepping back into his role as a pass-catching tight end.
He’s a deep sleeper, to be sure, since there’s significant risk related to his injury and the fact that he may not be at full speed when he returns. However, the upside is there, and you should at least be aware of his possible return.
