2. Delanie Walker-Tennessee Titans (19.8%)

Walker’s own injury may have come at the opportune times for Gronk owners, since many owners have dropped him after his week 13 concussion. He only had a catch before getting knocked out against the Colts and was inactive this week against the Broncos which is why his ownership is so far down.

He’s a favorite of Ryan Fitzpatrick and was coming off a great three-game stretch before his injury. In weeks 10-12 he was targeted 27 times and pulled in 19 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns. If he can return to those levels he could be just the jolt your team needs in the playoffs.

One reason to take the risk on Walker is that his week 15 matchup couldn’t be better. He and the Titans take on Arizona who have been horrible against the tight end this season allowing the most fantasy points in the league to opposing TE’s. Week 16 he takes on the Jags, so if you get to that point he’s a good play that week as well.

An ideal situation would be to get both Walker and Pitta. If Walker is cleared and active, start him in week 15 and plan on Pitta for week 16. If Walker can’t go this week, Pitta on Monday Night Football agains the Lions is a good option too. Try to get claims on both and see if you can go two-for-one in your Gronk replacement plan.
