CM Punk and The Usos vs The Shield

The show comes back from commercial break with all three members sitting outside of the ring staring a hole through one of their challengers. Lawler stands up with a microphone in hand and helps reveal the results of the decision made by the WWE Universe. His partners? The Usos.

Both Rikishi’s boys have had a long history with The Shield so the WWE Universe picked a great team for Punk to have in his corner. Punk looks happy about the decision too and honestly, it was a great decision. Before Survivor Series, there was a huge tag team match that involved all of these men and it was one of the best Main Events of the entire year.

Ambrose and Jimmy start off the match with a hard back body drop after Ambrose was thrown into the corner with authority. Jimmy tags his brother Jey in, who later tags in Punk. Punk backs Ambrose into the corner and Irish whips him across the ring. Punk rushes Ambrose and meets nothing but turnbuckle. Ambrose breaks away and tags in Rollins who runs into a drop toe hold.

Punk makes the tag but Rollins gets control of Jimmy Uso. Rollins ends up getting double teamed by both Usos. Jey throws Rollins to the mat by his hair and locks in an armbar of his own.

Rollins attempts to fight the hold as Jey gets caught with a right hand. Rollins connects with a forearm to the back of the head then gets countered with a hip toss. Jey pushes Rollins into the corner and tags in hiss brother Jimmy who hits Seth with a powerful right hand.

Both men go back and forth which ends in them both flying over the top rope after a clothesline by Jey Uso.

The Shield regained control of the match with Jey Uso being the one who will receive the punishment. Rollins goes for a right hand that’s immediately blocked which opens up a flurry of right hands by Jey. Jey hits the ropes looking for more offense but gets countered by Seth. Seth goes to hit a splash in the corner but gets nothing but turnbuckle. Jimmy gets tagged in who takes it to Rollings, hitting him with a couple clotheslines and a thrust kick to the gut.

Ambrose gets tagged in and gets a two count on Jimmy. He begins stomping on the gut of the Uso brother and continues his assault of little attacks on him. Ambrose leaps off the middle rope and drives his boot into the middle of Jimmy Uso’s chest.

This opens up Roman Reigns getting himself some of the worn out Uso brother. He begins stomping him in the chest then hits a huge elbow drop which is followed by a two count. Reigns, the man who cost his team the victory last night, tags back in Seth before getting a couple shots to the gut by Jimmy Uso.

Rollins gets things going again and sets Jimmy up on the top turnbuckle. He delivers a hard shot to his gut which is followed by a right hand to his head. He sets him up with a front face lock, attempts a Superplex but gets tossed to the mat. Jimmy Usos stands up and hits a flying cross body that takes both men out for a couple seconds.

Both corners are trying to encourage their partners to reach for a tag until Reigns is tagged in and continues to abuse Jimmy Uso. Punk screams from the corner, trying to encourage the young man who is backing him up tonight.

Jimmy gets fired up, as he hits a spinning kick to the skull of Reigns. Punk gets tagged in who hits a spring board clothesline on both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. He begins to hit running high knees on both men and hits a double neckbreaker.

He pulls Ambrose up and sticks him with a beautiful suplex. Reigns hits a superman punch on one of the Usos but gets caught outside the ring. Punk hits Rollins with a suicide dive and hits Ambrose with a kick as he attempted a suicide dive of his own. Punk climbs the turnbuckle and hits his signature elbow drop.

Punk goes for a GTS but Rollins breaks it up. Punk hits Reigns with a kick to the face, picks up Ambrose only to get hit with a spear by Reigns.

Reigns picks up the victory over CM Punk and the Usos.

WINNER: The Shield
