The weekend weather dominated the headlines for the games, particularly with how cold it was in Green Bay and the fact that the California teams had to play on the road. Not that it wasn’t frigid and bone-chillingly cold to even watch, the cold temps in Green Bay did very little to stifle the San Francisco offense. Also, the New Orleans Saints, a notoriously bad road team, didn’t seem at all phased by the cold Philadelphia night air on Saturday night. The San Diego Chargers were able to leave the sunshine of Southern California for the cold, rainy Cincinnati weather and completely dominate and deliver the Bengals their first loss of the season. Looks like the stress about the weather was just a big overreaction.
