I realize these are a necessity, the NFL head coaches, and players too for that matter are required to make themselves accessible to the media but these interviews immediately following the losses in the conference championships this time around seemed to pack a different kind of depressing punch. Of course with Bill Belichick and Jim Harbaugh to work with, you can bet the dramatics were going to be taken up a notch regardless. Belichick isn’t going to give too much emotion either way and Harbaugh is either going to say or do something ridiculous. Harbaugh misquoted Ernest Hemmingway in his depressing loser interview. So there’s that.
