The Phoenix Suns are one of the more surprising teams to watch this season and their rise in the Western Conference has made a lot of people root for them to continue tearing through the conference on their way to a deep playoff run. One of the reasons the team may be good long-term is because of point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has battled injuries but has given Suns fans a lot to be hopeful for.

This offseason will see plenty of teams throw money at Bledsoe to try and get him off the Suns roster, as Bledsoe is set to become a restricted free agent. Phoenix has said that they’ll match any offer for Bledsoe and Joel Brigham from Basketball Insiders states the Suns may have to pay pretty penny to keep Bledsoe.

"If Jrue Holiday can make $11 million a year, Bledsoe can top that amount. It doesn’t hurt that the Suns have a ton of money to spend. He’ll be back, and he’ll get paid, and I think the Suns are happy with that."

Brigham states that the Suns may have to match a max offer, although that might be unlikely. It’s still a possibility, especially if the Lakers make a run at Bledsoe, but either way it sound alike Bledsoe is about to get paid this summer.
