The MLB season hasn’t even seen its first pitch yet, and here were are already talking about which managers are probably not going to make it to the final game. Such is the way of modern sports, and FoxSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal begrudgingly have his list of names he feels are in jeopardy of becoming pink slip victims.

Like many of us, Rosenthal thinks that far too many rankings and decisions are coming from computer models, but in many cases the computers can be accurate, and would seem to agree with his hot seat choices.

So who does Rosenthal think should invest in some asbestos pants?

At the top of his list, Toronto Blue Jays skipper, John Gibbons

Gibbons was handed a cavalcade of free agent talent last season, but the combination of injuries, the World Baseball Classic and just a simple inability to find team chemistry (until it was too late) doomed the Jays in a tough division.

Number two on Rosenthal’s list – Arizona Diamondbacks dugout chief, Kirk Gibson.

Gibson has some serious challenges ahead of him to keep his job, including a huge payroll cut and some key injuries to overcome.

Also making the list, the New York Mets’ Terry Collins, Houston Astros’ Bo Porter, and Kansas City Royals’ Ned Yost.

You can see the entire list along with Rosenthal’s logic on the choices on his FoxSports.com column.
