NFL players teaming up in Las Vegas for a Make-A-Wish bowling event

During the offseason, more often than not the stories that pop up regarding NFL players are negative, but there are also the positive events that can often go overlooked. One of those events this month is the “Las Vegas All-Star Bowling Classic Presented By Sun West Sports & Associates.”

NFL players and coaches will be teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the event which will take place at the South Point Hotel and Casino.

The list of players and coaches participating are:

"Coach of the Year Carolina Panther Ron Rivera, will be joined by NFL players: Ryan Mathews (San Diego Chargers), (Julius Thomas, Matt Prater, Duke Ihenacho-Denver Broncos), James Jones (Oakland Raiders), Ziggy Ansah (Detroit Lions), Chris Owens (Kansas City Chiefs), Phillip Thomas (Washington Redskins), Thomas Keiser (San Diego Chargers), Kenjon Barner (Carolina Panthers)"

They will be joined by PBA bowlers Brian Valenta, Tom Smallwood, Sean Rash, Jason Sterner, Ryan Ciminelli, and Tom Hess.

The event will be held Saturday, April 12th, 2014 beginning at 7:00 pm.

All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada whose mission is to grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the Southern Nevada area.
