Cliff Alexander is one of the best from a city (Chicago) that’s producing by and away the most latent and fully developed prospects in this year’s class. He might be this season’s Patric Young on account of his ridiculous muscular development and tenacity at the rim. In his 4OT thriller against Jahlil Okafor earlier this season, Alexander played Okafor to a stalemate and showcased his midrange touch throughout. He’s more than willing to bang around in the paint, which will help replace Joel Embiid’s off-and-on role.

Kelly Oubre’s crazy upside doesn’t stop with his hair. But damn is it fun. Most of his abilities are still raw, outside of his innate rim scoring, and should be refined by Bill Self this season. If Kansas was looking for an athlete to fill the athletic, highlight reel void made by Andrew Wiggins’ departure, they got their wish.
