The Philadelphia Eagles started the 2013 season with a lot of optimism with new head coach Chip Kelly, and some uncertainty with the new offense and quarterback competition between Michael Vick and Nick Foles. Eventually Foles earned the job lighting up the football field and leading the Eagles to the playoffs.

If they’re going to have any success in 2014, it will be an uphill battle with a tough schedule ahead of them. They play a solid NFC West division including the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers on the road. They then host the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks as well as the NFC South champion Carolina Panthers. They’ll also face the Andrew Luck led Indianapolis Colts on the road as well.
