The Clippers are going through struggles of their own at the moment.

Between the situation with owner Donald Sterling and their current 2-2 series tie with the Golden State Warriors, things are a mess in Los Angeles.

Other than that, the Clippers actually have a pretty good recipe to beat the Heat.

They have two legitimate superstars. Power forward Blake Griffin had the best season of his career and looks like a legitimate MVP candidate after James and Thunder forward Kevin Durant while Chris Paul is the game’s best point guard.

By acquiring J.J. Redick, the team added another shooter and has allowed them to continue using Jamal Crawford off of the bench to provide a scoring lift for the second unit.

They also have a rim protector in center DeAndre Jordan, who has become one of the league’s elite rebounders and shot-blockers.

Adding veterans like Danny Granger and Glen Davis has helped depth.

Plus, they have Doc Rivers, who is one of the game’s elite coaches and has been in several battles with the Heat in the past.

Still, this team has not been able to advance out of the the second round and could be looking at a first round exit for the second straight year.
