Winners: San Franciso 49ers

All the 49ers did on Friday was load up on high-quality players. They snagged arguably the best running back in the draft when they selected Carlos Hyde with the no. 57 pick. Then they traded down and got the guy who might be the best center in the draft in Marcus Martin.

As if that weren’t enough they got a plug-and-play middle linebacker in Chris Borland, adding depth to one of the most talented units in the NFL, and then took a guy in lineman Brandon Thomas who would likely have gone in the first round if not for an injury.

Some of these picks will help immediately. Some of them will help in 2015 and beyond. Where we sit now, all of them look solid.
