With Embiid’s back concerns, it wasn’t a surprise and all. Plus, since all three players are projected to be selected in the top three, the really only need to show what they to the teams with top three – or maybe four picks.
According to Baxter Holmes of The Boston Globe, Wiggins and Parker only plan to work out for the teams with the top three picks.
"Ainge and members of the Celtics personnel staff are in Los Angeles for draft workouts this week. Ainge said they will start hosting individual workouts in Boston in early June.League sources say that the draft’s top three prospects — Duke’s Jabari Parker and Kansas’s Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid — are likely to do individual workouts only for the teams with the top three picks — Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia."
It will be an absolute shock if Wiggins falls out of the top three (or the top two, really). There are, however, a few scenarios where Parker falls out of the top three. The Bucks are reportedly high on Australian point guard Dante Exum. As are the 76ers. If one of them pulls the trigger on Exum, Parker could wind up going to the Orlando Magic with the fourth-overall selection.
