NFL: 10 receivers who took it to the house most often
By Miles Wray
3. Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee Titans
18 catches, 354 yards, 19.7 YPC, 4 TDs – 22.2% TD Rate
Hunter’s incredibly efficient rookie year was reason for hope amidst the Titans’ often unsuccessful passing scheme, good for the 21st-most yards in the league. As a rookie playing with an unstable quarterback situation, Hunter nonetheless managed an upper-tier yards per catch average, and managed to turn a supremely high percentage of those catches into touchdowns at that.
With noted offensive genius Ken Whisenhunt stepping in as the Titans’ new head coach, Hunter could experience the same bump in personal production that Eddie Royal, tied for ninth on this list, experienced during his one-year partnership with Whisenhunt in San Diego.
