Detroit Pistons

This is a pick that I loved. Detroit was out of the first round business, but in selecting former Colorado guard Spencer Dinwiddie, they picked up a first round talent with the 38th pick. Dinwiddie blew out his knee during his final campaign in Boulder, but otherwise, he would have been a first rounder, and if he can play point guard as some believe, his upside rises considerably.

The Pistons are one of the more intriguing teams in the entire NBA under the leadership of Stan Van Gundy, and if they hit on Dinwiddie, it will go a long way toward bolstering a backcourt that already features Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
