The Brooklyn Nets seem to be at a crossroads with head coach Jason Kidd as his short tenure as head coach look like it’s coming to an end. With interest from the Milwaukee Bucks and some animosity from Kidd about how little he’s being paid, the rocky relationship between the two sides is coming to an end.

With Kidd likely on his way out no matter what now, the Nets are starting to look at candidates to replace him and it seems George Karl is again making himself known to the world.

Karl has been out of work since last summer after winning the NBA Coach of the Year award and has been trying to sell himself to teams this summer. SO far he’s been unsuccessful as the Timberwolves didn’t hire him, the Cavaliers didn’t hire him, he got little interest from the Knicks and the Lakers.

But while Brooklyn might not be a bad job for him, Karl has the misfortune of being up for the job against Mark Jackson who represents a much better candidate than most on the market.

There’s a chance that Karl will get consideration but the bottom line is he’s yet again showing interest in a job when the same hasn’t been reciprocated back to him from Brooklyn.
