Let’s face it, the Chargers backed into the playoffs last year for sure. As the 6th seed they benefitted not only from the bad calls in their final regular season game that led them into the playoffs but also received the gift of facing the Bengals in the first round. They’re not going to get that many breaks for a second consecutive year.

The Chargers were able to just lately snag cornerback Brandon Flowers from division rival Kansas City to address a need in their secondary. However they didn’t get any big name receivers in free agency and didn’t draft one until the seventh round. How many good seasons does Philip Rivers have left in him?
