Jordan Reed, TE Washington Professional Football Team

For the second time on this list, a young tight end has been noted, and Washington’s Jordan Reed fits the bill as an explosive breakout option. The Washington offense is in flux after a change in head coach (and offensive coordinator), but when he was on the field as a rookie, the 2013 3rd-round draft pick from Florida was utterly explosive. Reed caught 45 passes for 499 yards and 3 touchdowns last season, but impressively, he only needed to appear in nine games to be able to crank out those impressive totals.

Concussion issues plagued Jordan Reed throughout the season, and frankly, those are a concern, but Washington’s additions on the outside (namely, Desean Jackson) should free up the middle for Reed in a more pass-happy offense. Translating his 9-game totals from 2013 to full-game projections in 2014 could be dangerous, but 900+ yards and a shot at double-digit touchdowns is in play for Reed, and in this era of interesting tight end deployment, that would be a gigantic performance.
