A.J. Green, Wide Receiver – Cincinnati Bengals

As noted in the open, wide receiver has become a position of great importance in today’s NFL, and Cincinnati Bengals wide-out A.J. Green is the game’s best combination of youth and talent at the position. Since arriving as a top-5 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the former Georgia Bulldogs star has topped 1,000 yards in each of three seasons, and his production has increased (along with that of quarterback Andy Dalton) on a per-year basis.

Green, who is not yet 26 years old, also has a great deal of his prime seasons remaining, and given the fact that Dalton is not considered to be an “elite” quarterback by any stretch, his 1,426-yard, 11-touchdown season in 2013 is even more impressive. As long as Calvin Johnson is in his theoretical prime, A.J. Green may not be the best wide receiver in the NFL, but because his prime to could extend for another full decade, he would be a fantastic player to use in the framework of any franchise.
