32. Cleveland Browns

The Browns are a hot mess. A. Hot. Mess. Look, I like some of their roster, but that organization is like a walking TMZ special. Their new future of the franchise QB is running around drinking on inflatable swans and rolling up dollar bills in bathrooms. Their incredibly gifted WR has so many off the field issues that its actually a question of if he’ll ever play in the NFL again. Their front office and coaching staff turns over faster than the American Idol judging panel. I’d recommend that the owner take control of the situation but he’s too busy negotiating 92 million dollar settlements with the feds to avoid his own prosecution. Hot. Mess. At least Cleveland got LeBron James back.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars

I actually like where the Jaguars are headed. I like Gus Bradley. I like some of the moves they made on defense this offseason. I think Blake Bortles has a chance to be a good QB in the NFL. I just don’t see much success for them yet this season. I think the Jags should start Bortles right away and suffer through the growing pains. I’m not sold on Toby Gerhart at running back so while there is hope for the future it could be another rough season on offense for Jacksonville.

30. Oakland Raiders

The Raiders used their massive amount of salary cap space to sign a ton of free agents. Their additions include several players like Maurice Jones-Drew and Justin Tuck that were amongst the NFL’s elite five years ago, but what do they have left in the tank now? Lesser names like James Jones and Terrell Brown will likely have a greater impact. I have two major problems with the Raiders in 2014. The first is putting Matt Schaub (who’s confidence looked shot last season) behind an offensive line that let their best player and starting LT walk in free agency. Second, if Schaub plays like he did in Houston I think the Raiders will fold quick. The problem with bringing in a TON of free agents is that none of them have a long running commitment to the franchise. So if things go bad (and I think they could with Schaub) it could turn into a “I’m just going to look out for myself” type of situation very fast.
