23. New York Giants

Eli Manning looked broken last season. Something just didn’t seem right. I understand that his supporting cast on offense didn’t help him out much, but it seemed like Manning really struggled mentally in the first half of the season. The Giants went out of their way to both sure up the offensive line and add help at RB and WR with players like Rashad Jennings, Andre Williams, and Odell Beckham Jr. If their efforts lead to a rebound for Eli then the Giants will compete in that division. If Eli tops the 20 interception number again it will be another long year for the G-men.

22. Dallas Cowboys

Starting next week I’ll be doing a weekly fantasy football post on Tuesdays here at Fansided. Here’s a little advance advice: Snatch up the Cowboys offensive players. The Cowboys are going to rack up a LOT of yards this year. That is partly because they have some very talented offensive players and partly because their defense looks to be SO bad on paper that they may have to score 40 points per game just to be a .500 team. I said the same thing about the Saints last year and their defense surprised so you never know, but I’d be ready for a lot of shoot outs Cowboy fans.

21. Tennessee Titans

A lot of people are down on the Titans, but I think they’ll surprise some next season. I loved the Ken Whisenhunt hiring. I’ve stated before that I think Jake Locker is unfairly lumped in with Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder as part of their disappointing QB class. Locker looked good when he was healthy last year and having a proven offensive mind in Whisenhunt calling the shots can only make things better. If Locker stays healthy (that is a concern) I think the Titans could actually give the Colts some competition in that division.
