It is a treat for any kid to attend a sports camp with a big name athlete sponsoring it.  Kids in Miami can get two big names if they attend the Dwyane Wade and Brandon Marshall Sports Academy.

In the camp press conference, the press got a little more than they bargained for when D-Wade told the story of a kid that asked him a, well, interesting question.

Kids say the darndest things!

More from Miami Heat

Hey, it’s a question on the mind of almost any NBA fan.  The league has tried to cut down on it to where an NBA game no longer seems like a high school drama class (see also: bad acting) whenever someone gets touched.

It’s a physical game.  Bumps will happen.

It also seems a little, uh, rude to call out the star camp host on this kind of behavior.

Co-host Brandon Marshall got quite a charge out of this as well.

Credit goes to Wade for taking things in stride, and contributing to this moment of hilarity.  And also for having the sense to not kick the kid out of camp.

As Wade hinted, there was more than likely the work of an adult behind the question.

How come no one ever asked Vlade Divac this?
