The Cardinals 1st overall pick from 2013’s draft missed all of last season after breaking his leg in the 3rd preseason game. In the time he missed, Arizona’s offensive line found a way to come together under the leadership of offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin, with certain players such as Bobbie Massie and Nate Potter developing substantially over the course of the season.

Now, Cooper is returning, rejoining this offensive line alongside free agent T Jake Veldheer from Oakland and bringing a significant amount of size and talent with him. Although conditioning is an issue with the time he’s missed, the addition of the skill set Cooper brings from North Carolina will only help to improve this offensive line.

He’ll help open up the run game and could possibly give Palmer the time in the pocket he’s been looking for since coming to Arizona to pick apart the tough secondaries in the division.
