3. Stephen Curry:

2013-14 Stat Line: 78 games, 36.5 MPG, 24.0 PPG, 8.5 APG, 4.3 RPG, 1.6 SPG, .471/.424/.885 shooting, 24.1 PER

Stephen Curry, like many of the point guards on the list, is a minus on the defensive end. But his brilliance on the offensive end is unparalleled to this point on our list and more than makes up for it. He’s a little too turnover-prone, but Curry is quite possibly the most dangerous point guard in the league when he gets going offensively.

Curry was the NBA’s seventh leading scorer and fifth leading distributor. He led the league in made three-pointers, shot 42 percent from downtown on an absurd 7.9 attempts per game. That’s pretty damn hard to do, and it’s no wonder that many are pegging Curry as the guy we’ll refer to as the greatest pure shooter of all time one day.

It’s not just that Curry has the best stat line we’ve seen thus far, it’s that at any given moment he can completely dominate a game and win it for his team singlehandedly. The NBA has lots of players that fit that description, but only a select few are as thrilling to watch as Stephen Curry when he takes over a game. Curry is a flashy passer, a constant offensive threat no matter where he is on the floor and at only 26 years old, he’s barely entering his prime now. If only the Golden State Warriors were willing to do what it takes to add Kevin Love….
