NFL: 10 players who will become stars in 2014
By Pete Schauer
Sam Bradford, QB, St. Louis Rams
Prior to going down in Week 7 against the Carolina Panthers with a torn ACL that saw him miss the remainder of the season, St. Louis Rams’ QB Sam Bradford was on pace to have his best season by far. The then four-year man threw for 1,687 yards, 14 TDs and just four interceptions through his first seven games.
This is the season that Bradford establishes himself as a top tier quarterback in the NFL.
ESPN’s Nick Wagoner reports that Bradford is feeling back to norm at training camp, which is excellent news for a Rams team that’s looking to build upon a 7-9 campaign in 2013.
I’ve read some stuff out there that this is a make or break season for Bradford, but I couldn’t disagree with that notion more. St. Louis has already shown that they’re committed to Bradford, and I think he’ll prove his worth in 2014 and beyond.
