If: Tom Coughlin’s team can re-establish the running game. In 2013, only three teams in the NFL finished with fewer rushing yards than the Giants. The club ran for a total of 1,332 yards, pretty disappointing considering that three players in their own division—Philadelphia’s LeSean McCoy (1,607), Washington’s Alfred Morris (1,275) and Dallas’ DeMarco Murray (1,121)—had pretty productive individual seasons on their own.

This season, Coughlin’s ground attack is in the feet of free-agent addition Rashad Jennings, who led the Oakland Raiders in rushing a year ago. There’s also veteran Peyton Hillis, 2013 seventh-rounder Michael Cox as well as rookie Andre Williams, a fourth-round pick from Boston College who may be the team’s future at the position.

Of course, there’s also David Wilson, who saw this past season cut short by injury. Unfortunately, according to Jordan Raanan and Conor Orr of NJ.com, the future of the former University of Virginia Tech standout and first-round pick in 2012 appears to be very much in doubt.
