The Carolina Panthers drafted Kelvin Benjamin in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and they are hoping that he will be able to make an immediate impact on the team’s offense.

With a weak receiving corp, there will be plenty of opportunities for Benjamin to make a splash and he is off to a great start in training camp.
According to the Charlotte Observer, Benjamin, who struggled with drops during his time at Florida State, has been impressive throughout camp and he has apparently yet to drop a pass during practice.
“I’ve yet to find anybody that has seen Benjamin drop a pass in Spartanburg,” wrote Tom Sorensen.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Benjamin will be able to keep up his impressive start to camp, but the first round pick is giving the Panthers and their fans every reason to be excited early on.
If Benjamin can put together a solid rookie year, the Panthers’ lack of overall talent at wide receiver could immediately be forgotten.
