32. Dallas Cowboys

Releasing DeMarcus Ware might have been the worst move the Cowboys could have made this offseason. They simply don’t have the pieces to compete in the upcoming season unless Tony Romo embraces his inner-Peyton (Manning) and puts up record setting numbers.

The Cowboys also cut ties with WR Miles Austin, QB Kyle Orton, and C Phil Costa. And, who did Jerry Jones and the ‘Boys sign? Brandon Weeden, Caleb Hanie, and LaRon Byrd. Well, and Zack Martin, a highly touted rookie offensive lineman, DT Henry Melton, and LB Rolando McClain, the guy who took the last few years off from football to get his head right. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good offseason for the Cowboys.

In fact, I’d say it was the worst in the NFL after LB Sean Lee tore his ACL in offseason workouts. Lee will miss the entire 2014 season, which is a huge blow to the Cowboys and their already thin defense.
