NFL: Ranking the offseason for all 32 teams
By Bryce Olin
30. Miami Dolphins
The nightmare 2013 season carried over into the offseason for Miami. Other than LT Brandon Albert and RB Knowshon Moreno, the Dolphins failed to keep pace in the AFC East with their free agent signings and draft picks.
The Dolphins are trying to fix their offensive line, and adding Albert starts that trend. Miami also went out and got OT Jason Fox and OG Darren Colledge to help protect Ryan Tannehill, who was sacked 58 times last season. 58 times! Yikes.
The Dolphins had a good defense last season, and they held onto most of their good pieces from the eighth best defense, in terms of points allowed. Adding CB Cortland Finnegan will help in the secondary, if he can stay on the field.
The Dolphins seem like they’re the same team as last season, but right now, they’re the fourth best team in the AFC West. The difference between fourth and second, though, isn’t that much.
