25. New York Jets

Finally, after what felt like years of not trying to add good, established offensive talent, the New York Jets tried to make some big signings this offseason. The Jets added WR Eric Decker, RB Chris Johnson, WR Jacoby Ford, and OT Breno Giacomini to bring some stability and consistency to the Jets’ offense. Oh yeah, and the Jets got Michael Vick, too, for what it’s worth.

Head coach Rex Ryan will have his hands full again this season. The defense will be the driving force of the Jets and will keep them in games. It’s now about finding an offensive rhythm and finding a way to score points with the other great teams in the NFL. There’s only so many games you can win 13-10.

That starts with quarterback Geno Smith and making a jump to a good starting quarterback and finding consistency. At times, Smith looked great in his rookie season. In others, he looked like he should still be in college. What will Smith bring this season? Hopefully, the Jets’ offseason signings can help him make that leap.
