6. John Abraham, Arizona Cardinals

Abraham, 36, was a revelation for the Cardinals last year in his first season in Arizona after a 11.5-sack season and a trip to the Pro Bowl.

Following up that season will be tough to match for the potential Hall of Famer after missing three weeks of training camp to attend to personal matters following a July DUI arrest.

Abraham has averaged 11 sacks per season since he turned 30, but at some point he has to experience the effects of age and that will be this year. There is a reason though why you don’t see many edge rushers in their mid-30s posting double-digit sacks.

Like it does with running backs once they hit 30, once you lose it, you lose it fast. Barring another trip to the Fountain of Youth, Abraham is poised for a significant drop in production.
