Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is absolutely lethal from downtown. He shot 42.4 percent from beyond the arc in 2013-14 and is a career 44.0 percent shooter from three. There’s an argument to be made that Curry is the greatest shooter of all time, considering his conversion rate on such a high volume of attempts (7.9 per game in 2013-14).

However, Curry’s elite shooting in real life apparently doesn’t translate well into the virtual world.

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and Curry recently spoke about how difficult it is to play with the young point guard in NBA2K (H/T Pro Basketball Talk).

"“The thing is, I can’t shoot with Steph,” Durant said.“That’s what everybody’s telling me,” Curry added.“I can’t play well, he’s terrible in the game,” Durant said.“They say it’s hit or miss with the timing on my jumper,” Curry said. “And I can’t figure out my own jumper.”“He’s a 30 percent shooter in my game,” Durant said."

We’re sure the fine folks at 2K will make it easier to shoot with Curry in NBA 2K15 because no one should ever be shooting just 30 percent from downtown with Steph.

Durant is the cover athlete for NBA 2K15, which is set to be released on October 7.
