9) Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers

Heath Miller will probably be the player among the top ten that garners the most skepticism, but aside from his lack of “fantasy production”, he is a big-time asset to the Steelers. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Miller often serves as a sixth offensive lineman for Pittsburgh, and while he isn’t quick by today’s NFL standards for tight ends, he is extremely strong and physical at the point of attack.

Through the air, Miller is an elite route-runner, even when put against wide receivers, and that makes up for his relative lack of speed. In 2013, he caught 58 balls for 593 yards, but when called upon, he has flashed the ability to post larger numbers, and he is a “jack of all trades” player at the tight end position.

Heath Miller won’t turn many heads with “wow” plays on the field, but you can bet that the Steelers are happy to deploy him on a weekly basis.
